Welcome to Monarch Beach

The town “Monarch Beach” is often referenced as the name of the city, in place of Dana Point. It was aptly named after its most prominent geological feature “Monarch Bay.” Known as a wealthy seaside community located between Dana Point and Laguna Beach, California, it is home to two world-class hotels, The Monarch Beach Resort & Spa and The Ritz Carlton.

With its oceanfront allure, Monarch Beach residents enjoy exceptionally close proximity to the beach. The community offers a relaxed, comfortable lifestyle, featuring an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, a private beach club, a low crime rate, and many upscale shops and restaurants to choose from. Monarch Beach homes are predominantly single-family detached with some luxury townhomes to choose from. Much of the real estate here is priced at one million dollars and above.

Although Monarch Beach is a small, laid-back suburb of Dana Point, it is no stranger to the wealthy seeking reprieve. People come from all corners of the world to vacation here. In fact, many who vacation here, eventually purchase real estate here. Due to its popularity both worldwide and locally, it is no wonder Monarch Beach real estate has profited handsomely.

During the summer months, it becomes evident that many Monarch Beach homes are secondary homes, enjoyed by part-time visitors. These part-time homeowners come from as close as Los Angeles and as distant as Dubai. Once here, mild sunny beach weather is enjoyed as well as easy access to upscale retail centers and restaurants. This community understands the art of luxury living.
